Angry Eyes

I do not remember the year, but it may have been 1973. My first concert Jackson Browne, Loggins & Messina & Fleetwood Mac, they played in Sullivan stadium where the pats played. We put a six pack of beer in the bottom a KFC bucket. With the chicken on top the guards never suspected. A song played that night, obviously many years later:

Desperado

One of the very first concerts I attended was in Sullivan Stadium, use to be the the place the Pats played. This song got a lot of play time on my stereo and in the car. Does it bring back any memories for you? Mine is sneaking in a six pack of beer to the Eagles concert in a KFC large bucket of chicken. Put a few pieces of chicken on top and under the white paper there were six shiltz draughts....ah the good old days

Whole Lotta Love!

I remember hours of listening to this break through album. Published in 1969 I couldn't wait to rush out and buy it. Needless to say this raw rock album drove my parents crazy. Still rocks!

Summer

I remember when Turnstiles came out in 1976. I loved this song the moment I heard the opening piano piece. Fourteen years later my son Joey was born and I was still listening. Billy Joel has been one of those artists that is the soundtrack of my life. Joey and I have seen the breath of times referenced in this song. I am blessed to have such a great son.Proud of you dude!

First Concert

My very first concert I was at the stadium where the patriots played. I am pretty sure that some of the Fiorini sisters were there. I believe we got beer into the stadium by putting a six pack under fried chicken in a KFC bucket.

A First Without Mom

 Okay, so please forgive the melancholy post the evening before my birthday.  It is kind of weird that this will be the first time that I've celebrated this event without my mom. In the months following my mom's passing last year I listened to this Edwin Mccain s song multiple times while reminiscing.

It's a beautiful tune and tonight I'm enjoying listening, sipping wine, enjoying this beautiful Florida evening, thinking about my mom and at the same time am incredibly grateful for my beautiful family and friends Wishing you a great night :-)

So without further a do;
